I have not been up the east coast through Bangor for a few years before COVID so I was elated to see this local bakery had survived the decimating affect of that crazy time.
A cruise around the block a few times to find a parking spot on a cold March morning was rewarded by the energy of the crowded rooms, the gorgeous baked goods (I wish I could have one of EACH!!!) and the flavours wafting out of the kitchen.
I went for the EVERYTHING BAGEL with the SALMON LOX schmear and it was massive ...and delicious...and lasted me all the way to New Brunswick!!! (I checked my records when I got home and I SHOODA ordered the ONION !!!)
i will return next time FAMISHED and gorge myself with some take-away baked goods as well.
Thanks to all at CENTRAL BAGEL for still being there and for a truly memorable bagel!!!!.

If you are stuck way out in the Terminal 3 GATES 60-80 for a plane save some energy and walk a bit further to WAHLBURGERS.
Good non-fancy basic breakfast with (sadly) airport prices.
But if you buy something at one of the concessions and/or coffee outlets you are paying almost the same so sit down and enjoy a hot meal.
Just check your bill (I was given someone else's more expensive bill) and your credit card invoices when you get home (I was double charged...so I am the phone with the credit card company after Christmas!!!!).

Everything else in previous reviews holds true and to try to add to those would be redundant. It has been MANY years since I have been here (sadly) as I remember the white table clothes in the restaurant on the lower level but now that is gallery space and the restaurant is on the Main Floor by the entrance. And a GOOGLE site said the restaurant was CLOSED Wednesdays (which did NOT make any sense) and it is NOT. It is open seven days a week but it is a bit pricey so be prepared to treat yourself.
However, I will add some information regarding the TOM THOMPSON TRUE NORTH exhibit on until mid-January. If you wish to focus on that ....and it is SPECTACULAR!!!!!......head to the RIGHT to a ramp up to the gallery. (There are elevators but you would need to ask for them).
To the left are the main gallery collections and they, as well, are spectacular.
You need to plan to spend a good amount of time here even to do a cursory examination of these amazing and varied collections.

Interesting for people who grew up in the 1970's to 1990's.....but this is a rather quick stop. What I would suggest is to set the 401 RICHMOND as a COMPLETE destination and NOT just this museum.
Check the opening hours as this place is (strangely during the summer tourist season) closed on the weekends
A great effort for nostalgia with some great artifacts....but a lot of written history to read. Many things parts of the exhibit are available to listen to with headphones and some hands-on materials and games for the young people ...but I am still somewhat hesitant in this post-COVID era with all this accessible material. Parents might want o bring sterile wipes with them.
There are some terrific stores on the main floor and interesting art galleries on the floors above.
