We attended an outdoor concert here. It's a nice park with all the amenities, and the property is well maintained. There is plenty of parking in the parking lot. We loved the fact that it is so close to the downtown area.
Great place to birdwatch. There is a bench at yhis point but often occupied. Great view of the Toronto city skyline. Bring bug spray, though, because there were lots of mosquitoes.
Love this path along the Humber River. Each season has its own beauty. Great area for a picnic or just to relax on a bench along the path. It is closed to car traffic from November until April, and thus, you can enjoy the path without having to deal with cars.
Thanks to the coronation on May the 6th, we got to enjoy this place for free. However, we still had to pay $7 for parking. It's a lovely location with a number of paths through the grounds that you can enjoy for free at any time. The Gallery has some beautiful pieces from the Group of 7 and a number of other Canadian artists. The building itself is worth seeing. While we were there, preparations were underway for a wedding later on after the gallery closed. It's definitely worth seeing this place.
Beautiful any time of the year. Great location and very well looked after.
