This park is very conveniently located and is just large enough to have some decent runs and socialization for the dogs. The water station doesn't work, so bring your own water. It gets muddy after rain so don't go immediately after a rain. I wish they would redo it as a grass park with half shut-down alternating every couple weeks for grass recovery like a nice dog park. But we take what we can get in the city.

I like this place. They call themselves Circa 1888 because they apparently found an old bar in Brooklyn (from 1888), tore it down carefully, and moved it down to Raleigh by train. I think it was worth it because the architecture finishes are awesome!... This place is also friendly. They have great cocktails, and a decent beer selection. I didn't play any pool, but the pool table section looked nice and popular. Unfortunately, they do not serve food though, so eat before you come.
