After a wretched stomach virus from a bad salad I ended up taking my very first (and hopefully last) trip to the ER a few days ago. Although it was a frightening experience, I felt reasured that I would be taken care of well after speaking with PA-C Michael James Lewis. He has a calm and pleasant bedside manner and communicated well which was quite comforting in such a stressful situation. I cannot recall my nurses names, but all except for one were attentive and communicated well. I hope to never return to the ER, but if I need to I hope I'm lucky enough to be treated by Michael and those nurses again. I deducted a star because I was not told prior to discharge that I could receive a voucher for Lyft. Had I been told I could have avoided an hour wait for my friend to come from work to pick me up.
