This place was amazing to visit on a rainy day. It has an eclectic variety of pretend play stations where kids can stretch their imaginations. My son played his heart out here. They also have a bouncy room for a little more exercise and movement. He loved working in the cafe and being a driver of all sorts of vehicles. Their staff were busy cleaning and reorganizing things throughout our time here. They have several restrooms which is always wonderful when kids are involved. No outside food or snacks are permitted just fyi. They have plenty of things for purchase if you are so inclined. It was a lot of fun for under twenty dollars. We shall return!
Our first visit to Candeeland was a fun filled affair! The play areas are big and varied and there is a ton to discover as you climb, jump, slide, and run around! There is an area for smaller toddlers up to age 4 as well as larger play structures with many ways to the top and fun slides. There are also climbing walls, a ball pit and an arcade. Despite being very busy the areas were clean! My son had a ton of fun and burned a lot of energy here :) I will say the entry price is steeper than some other indoor playgrounds in the greater metro area but I think you get what you pay for here. I got a good workout too! We will be back.
One of the best parks in the area. It has a great variety of climbing options, some amazing slides and the tower is super fun and sure to tucker out your children as they run up over and over! There are swings, a teeter totter and lots of green running space outside of the play structures as well. The park is very clean and has some dedicated parking spots. There is also a frisbee golf course nearby as well which looked great. We will be back often!
This place ticks all the boxes. Its got such an awesome history and the staff were so friendly and helpful. There was a bit of a wait on a Sunday morning but the line moved quickly. We had a wonderful meal. We tried both of their famous cinnamon options. The cinnamon roll came out warm and gooey and was a really nice balance of sweet and cinnamon. Their pecan roll was also savory and delicious. Shout out also to their eggs Benedict! Their hollandaise sauce has a spicy little kick that added a lot of flavor. The egg was perfectly cooked. Their kids menu was also fun with a sausage wrapped in a pancake. The breakfast was also very affordable. Definitely try this place out it was really amazing.
As others have mentioned Wright park is a nice park for walking dogs. It is fairly well maintained and has a decent loop for walking and running around. There is a small playground and play-set for children. Trashcans are located around the perimeter for disposal of doggy gifts.
