Great venue, showing films that are rarely available anywhere else.

The Museum of Global Communications (still shown as Telegraph Museum on road signs) is at the location where early under-sea cables came ashore. The social and economic impact of telegraph cables being laid to America and India from the 1860s is shown, as well as the technology that made it happen. Nearly half the Museum in in the underground bunker built to protect the facility during WWII. Lots of stories of the people - here and around the world - who made it all work.

A great diner for breakfast or lunch. The menu for each meal is organized into sections with several choices and the ability to customize.
Breakfast is always served, but I didn't ask if all the lunch items could be ordered at 600am. Pay attention to the specials on the whiteboard coming in.
Enough variety to eat here daily without getting bored, and it seems like some people do. There's a community atmosphere, and you see people greeting each other.
Service is exactly what you want: friendly, quick, helpful, efficient, and personal. My wife's request for a well-toasted English muffin in her order was provided by a noticeably darker one than the others. We loved this place, and ate here two days in a row.
Big thanks to the young lady at Trader Joe's down the street, who recommended The Breakfat Club to two starving travelers who needed an early afternoon breakfast!
