A short walk. A few different routes to take around this little park. There is a play area and football pitch too. The football pitch is busy with matches on a weekend mornings. Other than that it’s used by everyone. Good little place to let the dogs and little ones burn off energy.

It’s a short but pleasant walk. You can take one of two other paths in here too. One will take you to Marbury park, worth a visit too. The other path will take you into Anderton nature park and the boat lift, a famous landmark.
Note, all three parks link into the next. You can’t start in one and walk all three parks.
Lovely little walk. Good if you have prams or wheelchairs. Plenty of little rest stops, with benches to sit and enjoy this small woodland. There are some parts that have steps on the trail but you can find other ways to avoid the steps. A short walk but beautiful.

Beautiful little walk. You can see for miles once up at the top. There is plenty of trails leading up, even a scramble bit too. I think they even use this area for mountain climbing practice. All in all a great walk that you can spend hours doing..
