Very fun park with two sections, one for younger kids and one for older ones who are able to rope climb and play without so much supervision. It’s a newer heat resistant material, so it’s perfect for summer.
There’s also a sandy volleyball area, several shaded picnic tables, a ball field, and a very nice pavilion for larger get togethers.
The bathrooms are actually just a port-a-potty enclosed by a nice looking wooden building. But it’s relatively well maintained. There are additional bathrooms across the field at the ball park.

An absolute jewel! Its a very well maintained park with a few unique playgrounds, picnic tables, a decent bathroom, basketball courts, and even a great skate park that has never been busy!
There is a giant slide that goes down the side of the hill, a playhouse with a bridge that’s designed as a piano that plays notes when kids step on certain pieces, and a few other small playground pieces that make for the perfect spot to play tag! There are several picnic tables that are in the back corner. They’re covered and even have built in baby seats to make eating much easier for those with young kids.
It has a small splash pad in the back close to the picnic tables! The water is not yet turned on, but here’s to hoping it will be soon! That would really put this park over the top!
There are even fun little surprises as you walk up the path to the park. The arch way plays music as you walk under it, there’s a joke telling fairy statue, and a few statues designed to echo words across to eachother when the kids whisper into the ears.
The bathrooms and trash cans are cleaned constantly—we’ve seen an attendant every time we’ve visited.
Fair warning—the cicadas are INSANE here! We happen to love them, so it’s an added bonus!
The skate park is amazing! It seems newer and has a bunch of seating, some covered, for families who just watch the kids having fun. We take our scooters and bikes. It’s NEVER busy—maybe 1 or 2 other people there at a time. There’s plenty of parking in front of both the park and the skate park. It’s also very easy to walk between the two because of a over sidewalk that stretches all across the area.
There are also some walking paths thru the wooden area.

We had a great time at this park! There’s a lot of shade—all the picnic tables, half of the benches, and about half of the playground are covered. The swing set is full sun, though, so be careful with that. We actually brought water and squirt guns, so it worked out great! There’s a nice grassy open area to the left of the park that’s perfect for kicking around a soccer ball or playing catch. The park itself seems newer. There was a decent amount of trash laying in the grass areas surrounding the park, seemingly from the properties right next to it.
Parking is a little hard because it’s a pull up along the fence type situation. But it’s very quiet and seems like very few people come out, so it wasn’t an issue. Overall, we loved this little gem! In the age of COVID, it seems extra hard to find an isolated park where we don’t need masks!
