Bayside: Really calm water for learning how to swim. Only thing I would be careful about is the chain link fence which is holding down rocks to prevent erosion on the beach. Wear water shoes!
We didn't have any problems because it was low tide and we could see it, but if you go at high tide you may not know it's there.
