Great food and service. It can get a bit loud in the dining area but the decor is tasteful with a relaxing ambiance.

We started with the Insalata Carisma. They split the salad in two without us having to ask which was a thoughtful touch. The dressing was very good and this salad paired very well with the bread served.

For mains, we chose the Calamarata and the pasta of the day which was a Butter and Truffle Linguine. The calamarata was a wonderful balance of seafood and tomato, and the linguine was rich and flavourful. The fresh pasta in both dishes was excellent.

For dessert, we shared the Torta Di Noci which was nutty and rich. It wasn’t too sweet and had great flavour.

The food here was terrific. The only detractor would be the price point which is quite high for the size of servings.

Overall, a great experience! If you like good pasta, you won’t be disappointed here.

Cozy restaurant in the heart of Ossington! We visited on a Saturday evening. The restaurant is dimly lit with shelves of wine lining both sides.

They have a wide selection of wines as their name would suggest and a tapas style menu. We were recommended to share 4-5 dishes between the two of us.

We started with the Charcuterie which was a selection of 3 dried meats chosen by the chef. The crostini and meats were excellent together.

Our next dish was the Red Prawn Ceviche. This was my favourite. It was very refreshing and seasoned wonderfully. The tortilla chips were very good as well.

Then followed the Steak Tartare. This one was okay. The mustard and pickles were a tad strong for our liking.

As our mains, we ordered the Smoked Iberico Pork Ribs, the Paella, and the Patatas Bravas.

The ribs were seasoned well and so tender the meat fell off the bone. Yum!
The Paella was cooked just enough with both seafood and bits of meat which was a nice combination. We liked that the rice wasn’t over cooked.
The Patatas Bravas was hot and crispy and the tangy tomato sauce was a nice compliment.

We found the restaurant a tad too dark but otherwise, the service was great and a pleasant experience!

Affordable Japanese food. We stopped by for lunch on a weekend afternoon. The patio out front is wonderful on a summer day. The servers are pleasant and helpful but we waited a significant amount of time for our order so I wouldn’t come here when short for time.

As for the food, it was a bit underwhelming. We tried the Takoyaki, which was crispy on the outside but somehow cold on the inside.

For mains, we ordered the Tendon and Tempura Soba. The tempura was hot and crispy and of a very generous quantity, which was a nice surprise! However, the soba was over cooked and the rice was not the best quality. I unfortunately can’t find any more stars to give here.

This is a great affordable choice if you’re craving Japanese food and you’re seeking a filling meal. I personally would prefer to spend an extra few dollars and have the quality bumped up a notch.

The food is decent but way overpriced. The dine-in menu is different from the takeout menu, and the prices seemed abnormally high for the serving sizes. You can, however, expect authentic Japanese food of a certain quality here.

The Tempura and Karaage were hot and crispy and quite tasty. We ordered the sushi rolls and Tataki to be shared amongst us and these were good choices as well. The Warayaki Oysters were the only thing we weren’t a fan of as they were a bit fishy.

Although the restaurant was quite empty when we visited, our server was absent. We had to waive him down multiple times for water as he seemed overwhelmed serving other tables.

Overall, not the best experience despite the polite staff. I was a bit disappointed as we expected better.
