Breakwater Beach

Unusual beach because of the tides. When low you can walk out a ways with the water at your knees. But at high tide the waves are very gentle (so good for small kids). Also the water was pretty warm for cape cod.

The downside of this beach is the public area is quite small. There are private sections on either side.

The one annoying thing about the beach is the pay parking. The sign with the URL in at the road entrance and we missed it. We did google searchs from once we sat down on the beach to pay (a local did warn us to pay but didn't know the url because they buy a season pass). But the traffic warden was even faster. City hall did reverse the ticket without any fuss when we showed them the email receipt.
The Cape Playhouse

American in Paris was a 5/5, the venue is a 3/5 hence the final score of 4. Great cast, excellent singing voices and dancing. Set was very good as was lighting and music.

The theatre on the other hand was sub par. Old uncomfortable seats, but worse was the lack of any offset row to row. As such I lost the middle 1/3 of the stage to the head of the woman in front of me. We happened to be seated quite close to the centerline of the orchestra so maybe seats more to the side offer a better chance. Or sit in the first row of the balcony all those seats would have excellent views. My other complaint was with the lack of ticket scanners at the doors. You had to give your name to the septegenarian who then tried to scroll their tablet to find your name. I am sure there are many grandma's who can use a tablet but some of these ladies weren't them.

But in the end, the excellent production made up for most of the shortcomings. I just wish I had seen some of the center stage dancing.
Centrepointe Park

A very nice park for walking and playing. 2 play grounds ( one smaller aimed for toddlers to K) and a larger scale one with a splash pad. A duck pond and 3 different paths east to west. Multiple soccer fields and baseball diamonds. Good sized parking lot. Bathrooms at the larger west side playground
