Saw an interesting looking bird here the other day. Is it a cross between a robin and a starling? Or just an odd looking robin?
Nice spot. Currently unsafe due to rotting foundations (only visible at lowest tide). Helpfully closed off by RIOC
Zankel Hall

Small modern hall (renovated and opened for music performances in 2003) below ground level at Carnegie Hall. The performance we went to (Ensemble Intercontemporain) was very well attended. Good acoustics where we were on the mezzanine level, occasionally a soft rumble from the subway is audible. Chairs are normal for most of the hall except for in the mezzanine side wings they are oddly high up, like bar stools (probably for better visibility of the stage).

Overall nice performance space, ambiance very much like a university lecture hall. A bit of a shame the world class ensemble we heard was relegated here rather than the historic main auditorium, but probably to be expected given the repertoire (Boulez etc)
Lighthouse Park

Nice spot for walking, lots of people enjoy picnicking in summer. Also seems to be a popular spot for fishermen, although amateurs beware there are lots of rocks so you will probably lose your bait. Visitors can take the red bus to the Octagon or the Q102 to Coler (now a skilled nursing facility, the last remaining healthcare facility on an island once filled with them). There are also citibikes on the island. Please don't be one of those people and try to drive here, you will only be disappointed (the only legal parking past the Octagon is with a Coler permit).
Natural area with lots of small paths through wetlands. Dogs not permitted, as it is a bird sanctuary. A good place to walk quietly and enjoy the surroundings.
