Thus is a lovely spot to get away from some of the busyness of the shops. You can buy takeaway food in the Retail Park and bring it with you. But waste bins are limited, so please remember to take rubbish away with you.
This is a smashing little playground: plenty of fun to be had.
Prior to lockdowns and WFH, this was an undiscovered location to so many people. It is a real pleasure to exercise and appreciate the natural world. The path is wide enough for walkers and cyclists to enjoy. The route follows the course of Dollis Brook and it is a pleasure to watch the changing seasons.
If you want to picnic, I would recommend accessing the area from Longland Drive. But please remember to take your rubbish home as there is only one bin, near the bridge.
Also, dog walkers need to keep their animals on leads (and remember to clean up any mess) to ensure nesting birds are not disturbed.
There are regular #litterpicks along the course of Dollis Brook, led by a group of volunteers: @BrookersDollis. These are publicised on local platforms.
