Elysium Joy

Very few stores remaining. We were there before noon and it was very uncomfortable inside the mall as it felt no air or AC were on.
Inside the stores was better.
Coming out of the movie many people were waiting for the elevator because they have the escalators shut down and closed off.

Our group after patiently waiting for the elevator got trapped inside and it was very hot too.
After 7 minutes, mall security came to the elevator by which time we had decided to pry the doors open ourselves and escape.
Very sad to see retail facilities in such a state.
Not a good look especially for USA.

The owner herself dished out the delicious food she had so lovingly prepared including fried chicken that had been fried that instant.
Lunch special $8.35 includes 2 sides and drink.
Big selection of sides...delicious veggies.
OMG the mashed potatoes and gravy!
Excellent broad green beans.
For dessert a splendid piece of red velvet cake with fresh cream cheese frosting $4.75.
She said..."you'll be back".
She is right.
Everybody in the restaurant...mind you it was the middle of the day and this restaurant was still busy...was enjoying the food and the regulars were coming and going...
Try it!

Good points:
store was well-lit, inviting, and had some good clothes options.
Not good points:
Associates (3) were gathered gossiping to the right of the register.
Associates did not greet us the entire visit (over 30 minutes).
Associates did not ask if we need any assistance.
The clothes looked wrinkled like they had just come out of a big bin from packaging. A lot of the clothes were severely wrinkled and looked very unattractive and unappealing.
The dressing rooms were a disgrace due to extremely dirty & dusty louvered doors and dirty carpet.
