My family and I (8 of us) had an exceptional lunch in a private room here. Everyone loved the food so much, and the atmosphere was completely cozy and inviting. Probably the most memorable part though was Paul's hospitality and warmth. I would definitely recommend coming here!

Pros: The staff and setting are fantastic. Incredible views. The trails behind the hotel are awesome. The pool is beautiful. Cons: There is only one option at the one restaurant, which is all-you-can-eat buffet. And the food is good, but if you just want something small or light, options are very limited (like pretzel from the bar - if the bar is open, or a cheese sandwich). The hotel seems to only have consideration for guests arriving by car or by their own shuttle bus coming directly from the Frankfurt airport. If you come by train or tram, it's a pretty far walk (uphill, unpaved paths, stairs, cobble stones) with a suitcase. There are no signs directing you to the hotel. So, it's confusing (but doesn't need to be). I met two other guests who arrived by train, (like me) and all three of us had the same exact issues. One woman was in heels, trying to drag her suitcase up the steep hill, but a nice garbage truck driver gave her a lift to the hotel. I ended up hiking through the woods with my suitcase.

Excellent value. Convenient location (easy walk to the train station and bus stops right out the door). Awesome breakfast. Friendly staff. Comfortable rooms. Super Happy Hour! Great stay!
