Just had a supetb dinner at Loetje.
Warm greeting on arrival and drinks order taken swiftly.
We both ordered the steaks ( in 2 sizes ) they're cooked medium rare as standard and sides are ordered separately. The steaks were cooked to perfection and came sat in the meat jus... absolutely delicious 😋 and sides of fries and vegetables lovely. The steaks came accompanied with sliced white bread which was new to us but you know, why not and tbh it's a cracking idea to mop up the dish.
Cheesecake to share for desert completed our dinner.
Our waitress was attentive and looked after us very well.
Lovely atmosphere and modern design added to the overall experience.
10/10 and no hesitation in recommending.

Called in yesterday on our way to the FD arena.
Really nice bar, great decor and styling, prices good and will certainly visit again.
( no rating on the food as we didn't dine here)

It was a pretty cold & blustery morning, but the sun was out so decent conditions to explore Barnard Castle.
Tbh, it was a super walk around the ruins. There are a few information boards around, but I think it could do with a few more, but nonetheless, there was enough info to paint a picture and immerse yourself into the marvellous site.
It was a very interesting Castle to visit, and I'm sure my pictures won't do it justice but will give you a taster.
If you're in the area, then well worth a visit

We took our grandsons aged 12 & 10 to London for a couple of days, and the London Eye was our first attraction, and it was superb.
Fortunately, our capsule was not full to the max, so there was plenty of space to walk around for different view / photo points. Talking of which the views are staggering as the higher you go, you get a different outlook and see London from a different angle.
All in all, it's a great experience.
No hesitation in recommending.
