Beautiful central square of Bologna, Piazza Maggiore. Many important buildings for the city are located around the square - the Basilica of San Petronio, the Palazzo dei Banchi, the Podesta Palace, the Palazzo Comunale (Town Hall), the Palace of the Notaries. Some of them are best seen in night lighting, Friends and admirers formed a huge queue in Piazza Grande, as Lucio Dalla had rechristened it in also one of his most beloved songs performed in 1972 in San Remo - a piece of history for Bologna and its people. More of 50,000 people paid tribute to Lucio Dalla at the town hall in Bologna, where the casket with his body was on display

Perhaps the largest historic medieval square in Europe. Known for the horse races that take place around the perimeter of the square twice a year for centuries. Lots of restaurants around but I suggest you eat outside the square to pay a lot less.

Beautiful square in the center of Florence with the old palace and current city hall in the background. The square is decorated with authentic statues such as Poseidon, Hercules, David and many others. It is worth visiting!!

Perhaps the best shopping mall in Europe. It connects the ancient Scala with the Duomo. All the well-known brands in clothes and jewelry and amazing coffees in between !!

The Sempione park is beautiful and hosts the Sforza castle. A lung for Milan. It has excellent policing and many benches where you can rest. Also perfect area for jogging
