Central Park in Connaught Place is a green oasis in the heart of Delhi, perfect for a relaxing stroll or just unwinding amidst nature. The park is well-maintained with lush lawns, fountains, and an amphitheater that often hosts cultural events. One of the standout features is the massive Indian National Flag, which adds to the park’s charm. Its location is also incredibly convenient, as it sits right above the Rajiv Chowk Metro Station—the busiest station in Delhi—which makes it extremely accessible and well-connected to all parts of the city. A peaceful escape in the middle of a bustling commercial hub!
The mall's location along a key road in the area is its only notable feature. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. Most shops are vacant, creating a desolate atmosphere. The limited options include a handful of fast-food stalls on the ground floor and service centers for Apple and Bose. The parking situation is a complete mess, and despite the chaos, they still charge you. Not recommended unless you have a specific need, such as visiting a service center like the Bose one – a rare find in South Delhi. For a more enjoyable shopping experience, visiting Ambience Mall is a far superior choice.
The mall is new, not too big but incredible. It's nearby the civil hospital in sector 10 and it's the first mall there. Soon a new metro service will be there as well. Unfortunately there is only one shop in food court and that too of Domino's only. Soon a bikaner will open there as well. The cinema "Cinepolis" there is surprisingly very epic for the price. It's way cheaper than other malls in Gurgaon but they haven't compromised to quality much. The crowd is also good and gotta visit the mall soon and let's hope a lot more shops will be opened as soon as possible.
It's a good place. It is better from outside rather than inside as per my opinion. The whole area is hugh and it took us 2-3 hours to cover the whole area. Better purchase the tickets online as it is cheaper and also no waiting in queues. Most of the archaeological sites I have visited in Delhi it is the most maintained maybe due to it's importance during the independence day speech. Connectivity with metro is incredible as it is within 50 metres from the Lal quila metro station. Will visit this place again but this time with better treking boots and better weather preferably winters.
The worst place to work if you are working under a contractor in this embassy. The Sikh diplomat literally says the F word in every sentence and one day he even said to me the sister abuse in Hindi. And one time that diplomat even abused my parents. That was the first time I was literally angry and sad but can't do anything as I am nothing in comparison to him as he is a VIP. The maintainance manager literally abuses about mother and sister in Hindi everyday at least 4-5 times. It is now also a nightmare to me as how had I worked in that embassy for long. I understand you are a developed country, we are from a developing, poor country but seriously why you are abusing every time. The guards as well as the other workers are good.
Maybe their country is great but not this embassy.
