Higher Ground

Nice restaurant that I was highly anticipating but it fell a little short. The restaurant itself is simply stunning, would make for an incredible venue for a special event. Coffee was exceptional, but service felt a little cold, forced, and the hotcakes were drowned in maple syrup making it just far too sweet for me to enjoy. It’s on the pricier side, $30 for ricotta hotcakes is definitely a little steep. I rate it well for a casual solo meal however, they have fantastic bench seating that overlooks the restaurant.
Black Fox Coffee

My second visit to a Black Fox Coffee during my stay in NYC and I was one happy Aussie. Fantastic coffee, service and a lovely space.
Ordered via a delivery partner and for <$40 had this beautiful butter chicken and rice with naan delivered. One of the best Indians I’ve tried in brisbane so far. Food was prepared and delivered quickly, arrived hot and fresh. The butter chicken was beautiful, chicken cooked tenderly, and the naan was just perfect. Serving sizes were reasonable and it reheated very well. Will definitely order from here again in the future.
Great spot for authentic Korean food and flavours. Friendly staff, good food and a cozy, vibrant atmosphere. We were a large group with a booking and they were reluctant to seat us inside until our whole group had arrived.
Dubai International Airport stands as a global aviation icon, with an extensive network of airlines and routes connecting worldwide destinations.

I believe in my recent travels I visited two of the three terminals, each built with modern architectural mastery. The duty-free shopping is unprecedented, and airport staff are consistently highly respectful, welcoming and helpful.

This must be one of if not the best airport in the world for functionality, service, cleanliness and sheer class, and is an absolute pleasure to be in transit here. And as a plane enthusiast - it’s an A380 heaven.
