This is the absolute best hotel! I loved every second I spent in this gorgeous work of art, in my suite, in the pool, every where! They have a very clear sustainable initiative in practice, which I appreciate so much. The fitness room could be upgraded but I got a lot of work done regardless. The pool was clean and beautiful, completely open in the morning! The smaller heated pool was so amazing; I see why people love them!
The hotel has receipts and notes from the 1920s on the walls, it’s just so beautiful. I hope I’m lucky enough to stay here again!

I’m always nervous to order a shrimp po’boy, the fear that it will be mostly bread. This was not the case! Piping hot shrimp, good shrimp-to-breading ratio, a solid lowkey sandwich!

I really like it! I’ve had the rice and beans, fries, and chips and guac x2 via delivery. I ordered directly from them, not from a food delivery app, and it came packaged very well, hot, fast, and they sent me a coupon for my second order!
The fries were very good, very crispy. The chips were a good size and the prices were pretty good for inflation times.

A really peaceful break from the sidewalk. I went on a weekday afternoon and only came across two couples, so you can actually get away mentally. The birds seemed happy over here.

All of the parents communicated to not touch or harass the animals, which was nice, particularly for the chickens. The chickens are out and about so it’s nice they don’t have to feel vulnerable around people.
There are two trails here. They’re easy to follow with bright tree markings and there were kids on them, so they can’t be too serious. There were cows, horses, pigs, a rooster, chickens in the farm area, as well as vultures on the trail.
There’s are two picnic areas, one has a grill. There’s a shop as well.
