Great event of short theatre for 11 days in early September
Every November 11 from 10 am to noon, an extensive ceremony is held to honour those that have served in Canada's military. While it is broadcast locally, large numbers of the public attend in person.
At other times of the year, there are assorted community events.

Appreciated the Vancouver Winter Mural Festival tour on a chilly damp evening. The guide showed the key locations for the festival but also included other less known but great artwork such as the Susan Point stained glass windows at Christ Church Cathedral with the funders dog included (visible from outside and inside).
Scenic venue with many nice elevated walkways. Visitors should be comfortable with swaying suspension bridge and heights. Shop has a very extensive range of quality local products. Food available on site. Very handy free shuttle bus from various downtown spots, parking lot and transit stop. Special displays for holidays. Interesting educational panels. A top attraction for visitors and locals..
