Not sure what the appeal of the gum wall is, seems a bit gross. I didn’t walk that far down Post Alley as it wasn’t something I was keen to see. Also don’t touch it - way to many nasties
Red Rock Canyon is stunning. The desert landscape with the red rock backdrop is something to see. This overlook has a rest stop, picnic area and plenty of parking. Great place to chill and take in the beauty. It’s also a great reprieve from the lights and hustle of Vegas.
Easy day trip from Las Vegas, roughly about 40mins drive.

I visited recently for the F1GP and the U2 concert at the Sphere and there was a lot of construction and barricades in place as the track runs along the strip. It truly enjoy all the strip had to offer avoid October, November and December as all the F1 infrastructure obstructs some of the most iconic parts like the Bellagio fountains, and pretty much the whole area from the Wynn to Planet Hollywood. Having said that, I’ve visited Vegas a couple of times before and the strip at night it pretty awesome. Be sure to both walk it and also drive it for the full experience. The main part between Wynn and New York New York is the best Be prepared to walk though as it’s miles long and the 2miles drive takes about 50mins but it’s great to take it all in
It’s Vegas kitsch done well. Replicating Venice indoors is only something you’ll see in Vegas so embrace it. Everything from high end shops to high street brands. Gondola rides and plenty of places to eat from Tao to cafes. Don’t plan to spend more than a a couple of hours as it gets a bit much unless you’re really into this sort of thing.
Manly Beach is iconic. It attracts surfers and swimming and it is less crowded than the eastern suburbs beaches although still busy. There is plenty of shade along the esplanade walkway however bring shelter for spending a day at the beach. 🏖️ also always swim between the flag as the beach gets rough with strong currents
