Clean, industrial vibe with a distinct, campy casualness. Cocktails were great, with daily "du jour" specials.
Went here for a kid's birthday party. It's hard to convey how much has been crammed into a fairly small space: no room is wasted and there is a lot to discover. Feels closer to a science or children's museum. Elevated walkways interlink the majority of the activities with a half-height second level I dare you to explore.
Wonderful, small, donation-based museum, that was a real firehouse but transported to a new location. The chrome and brass of old equipment is amazing. Also look at the communication systems: they have working fire-alarm telegraph systems hooked up and ready for demonstration.
Staffed by former Orlando firefighters when I visited, eager to add personal context to all the items on display.
