Visited on a Thursday late morning and early afternoon and the lounge was fairly busy throughout my visit.

Despite being busy the lounge was fairly quiet and therefore it was possible for people to work or relax.

Food selection was quite limited, I ended up with a small salad which was quite fresh (not pictured), along with snacks each time I had a drink. Alcohol is only behind a served bar and beware some choices come with additional cost, for example a G&T is free, but not if you select certain gins like the Bombay Sapphire.

If you have access with status or your flight ticket then make sure to visit, but I wouldn't bother spending the entry fee for a single visit if you don't.

Definitely worth a visit when in Berlin.

Both architecturally and historically a significant and interesting visit. There are audio guides available in multiple major languages (German, English, French, Spanish, Russian), and there are special audio guides for children albeit only in German.

When illuminated at night it looks incredible, and equally I can imagine the views of Berlin in the daytime would be spectacular.

You must preregister online at least 1 week in advance, or you can go to the small portacabin across the street and book a slot for any remaining places in the next 2 or 3 days. You will need to provide ID both to reserve and to enter, and you will need to have your bag scanned on entry into the building.

Visited alone on a weekday evening. The seating area is quite small but the place was still very quiet.

The food was incredible, both the chicken fingers with sweet chilli sauce, but especially the duck. The skin was crispy, almost to the crunch of pork crackling, but the meat was tender, and the vegetables, rice and sauce it was served with were all nice.

Service was friendly but professional.

My only point of disappointment is that this place doesn't take any cards other than local German ones, at least when I visited in summer 2022. They didn't accept, VISA, Mastercard, or AMEX, and therefore I had to leave and find a nearby ATM.
Harvest Market

As a regular transitor in AMS airport, I have walked past the harvest market several times before but finally on a longer layover had a chance to stop and grab a bite to eat.

The Dutch fish and chips is tasty and the portion is good, but the price isn't super cheap. However given other food outlets airside in AMS are also quite pricey, this isn't really something that can be held against this place.

Ordering and paying was quite slow as there was a long queue, but the food wasn't such a long wait once ordered.

At busier times the amount of tables is a limitation.

Great selection of food stalls offering up bites from around the world. Whilst so many smelt great, I tried the taco stall, specifically having fried fish tacos, and they were incredible. For New York the prices were pretty reasonable too.
