This park looked a bit run down but my kids didn’t notice. There were a few homeless folks hanging around which makes me think not many people take their kids here. It was fine but won’t be our first choice.
I wish I’d been here sooner. The outdoor seating was perfect on a nice day. There was plenty of room for my kids to run around and plenty of tables that we could sit as long as we wanted!
Very friendly employees, which is rare in this area! The bagels were delicious too. My only reason for 4 stars is that there was an extreme amount of cream cheese on them. Not a big deal, now I know for next time!

Our family took the metro in and it was super easy to get to the exhibit from the metro stop. A 10 minute walk at most and not through any sketchy areas. If you drive and take someone who has trouble getting around the nice thing is the parking lot for the Van Gogh Experience is right by the door to get in, couldn’t get any closer. This would be very accessible for those who need it. Lots of wide open spaces and benches spread through the exhibit.
We really loved the experience! I’m an artist myself and had set my standards low just in case but was pleasantly surprised. The information presented was very detailed and the digital projections spread throughout the exhibit kept it so none of them were every crowded with people. The final room with a 360 degree view was amazing with many seating options.

This is a great playground with lots of different “levels” of play. I have a 2yo and 4yo and they both had different play areas suited to their age. The whole area is fenced in which is so nice and makes is easier to let them both go separate ways without me having to worry too much. There was a bit of trash littering the grounds and the building next to the playgrounds was closed off with caution tape but overall in good shape.
This is a beautiful shop! Everything is clearly arranged and placed with care. The entry area if full of apparel patterns on both walls, arranged by brand. Then the rest of the shop is split in half lengthwise with half deducted to a studio workspace and half fabric and notions. There was a dressing room in the back and a wall of samples of clothing that you could buy the patterns for. It was unclear if you could try those items on or if the dressing room was just for students working on their own pieces and making adjustments. Definitely geared towards apparel makers but as a quilter I was still able to find plenty of fabrics to add to my collection. I would love to see some more bag patterns added to the stock!
