A small urban woodland within a heavily industrial area and adjacent to a canal. Once an area used by convalescing patients from Moxley hospital, it is now owned by Walsall council. Sadly it is strewn with rubbish, bottles and cans mainly but if it were to be cleared it could be so much better. Disappointed, but I can see how much better it could be. Still, a little haven for birds and wildlife and my dog loved to run around.
A breath of fresh air on the edge of a city. Adjacent to the canal this area teems with wildlife and is the perfect location to relax and unwind.
Currently (Oct '19) being partly refurbished, this is a local working men's club as they used to be. With two rooms to hire for functions, pool table and darts, a social meeting point and beers at low prices. No frills but does what it says on the tin, so to speak.
