This is without a doubt the best place on the Gold Coast to view the sunset that gives easy access. There’s a good amount of parking area and it is also suitable for those needing wheelchair access.
There is also toilet amenities at the viewing site which also have ramp access for wheel chairs.
The view across the valley looking towards the Darling Downs and the Great Dividing Range is truly spectacular, wether you are there for a sunset or not. BUT to witness a sunset here makes it even better!!!

Great location for a walk, roller skate, bike ride, swim, or to fish. The beach area is also dog friendly, and it’s a great location to watch a sunrise from.
Up from the beach you have a nice wide flat footpath that makes it easy for both pedestrians and riders to use together. And on the beach it’s fairly firm sand so it’s also easy to walk along.
And if you want to go for a swim in the Broadwater, you don’t have to worry about waves.
