This is a beautiful rink situated right behind the Governor General's residence. Admission is free. Wish I had come more often this last winter. There is a very nice Cabana/sports museum that is perfect for getting skates on or off. The rink is usually very well maintained, and nice music plays during the day that make this rink a fun experience. Last time we were there we saw a wild Fox.
This barn in the middle of HIgh park has got a surprising range of animals, great place to bring the kids if you are stuck in the metropolis of Toronto. Emus, wallabees, bison, and a few other Anushka's like an amazing bovine with white curly hair. Feeding is not permitted. A few steps further up the road is the restaurant. Also look for some really beautiful ducks in the pond.
