Our Pompeii and Mt.Vesuvius tour included lunch and this was where they took us to. The restaurant has a great view of the Gulf of Naples. There are people sitting outside the restaurant to take in the view.

We had a fried appetizer that looked like an arancini first, then a Neapolatin pizza, followed by an almond tart/cake. Food was ok. The pizza could have been cooked a little bit longer.

We could see the ruins as we drove up to it and that got everyone excited. We bought the combo ticket for the ruins and the museum up the street for €20.

The ruins are protected but you can climb on some of the old walls and fallen stones. We had 2 hours to spend there and that passed by too quickly. Wish we had another hour at least.
They do have a small shuttle for €4 per person for those with mobility issues.

We did an afternoon tour on a weekday. Drove there and was able to purchase tickets for the next tour. Each tour lasted about an hour and it was packed with fun facts about the house.

I highly recommend this tour. Very unique house full of mystery and history. My kids and I all enjoyed it. Our guide was awesome!

A favorite restaurant at the UTC Mall for lunch. We just love their lunch special of half flatbread and small salad.
The house salad is really delicious and I always order it. The greens are fresh and the dressing is nice and light. We also love the mini desserts. They are perfect for a little indulgence.

Service is always nice and the restaurant is usually not too busy at lunch time. They will also validate your parking ticket.

Beautiful 19th century Catholic Church across from the Old Federation Square train station. We decided to come inside to take a look. There were about a dozen people either sitting in the pews or walking around.
It's free but donations are accepted by cash or tap.
