A really beautiful space, on the smaller side compared to many other community league halls.
This is a sandbar that happened because of changes to the bank upstream from bridge construction. This is not a prepared recreation area by the city. Please lower your expectations when you visit, and appreciate this gift from the river. Stop complaining people!
Great outdoor ice surfaces. One is unlocked and you can skate nearly any time. Lights came on automatically after dark (I think they’re on a timer). There’s a second, small rink that’s fenced and locked except for certain times, see their website.
Right now, there is outdoor seating for skates on/off. Sometimes an indoor heated area is opened up, but for COVID it’s limited to only 2 households at a time.
Must be a community association member to skate.

This is a really great boat launch. There’s a turnaround branch at the bottom so you don’t have to back your boat down the entire way from the road. There’s also a floating dock just downstream. Bathrooms nearby.
The elevators in here alone are worth the visit. Operated manually by an attendant.
