Nice ambience but the tables were a little awkward to dine at. Good was a little on the expensive side but good quality. We had the shawarma that wasn’t shawarma at all, it was sautéed chicken breast with fries and rice - still tasted good though, chicken couscous which was decent and the piece de resistance was the seafood paella. Nicely presented and delicious.
It was a nice surprise to find a Moorish castle in Malaga to visit. We didn’t book in advance and just purchased tickets from the machine at the castle. It was lovely walking around the castle and exploring the winding staircases and ramparts. Orange trees everywhere which I love and fabulous views of old Malaga, the cathedral and the sea. You can also buy a combined ticket and walk up the second castle at the Gibralfaro look out point which has even more spectacular views.
