Great views to Lake Burley Griffin, and rarely overcrowded. Public access via the Royal Military College, Duntroon or the Australian Defence Force Academy.

Great walking, trail running and mountain bike tracks. Lots of active native animals in the late afternoon. Steep climb to the lookout, but well worth the trip. Several entry and exit points to track system.
