Roadside Cafe
2023 Feb 17
The best spot for relaxing. I find it more amusing to go there directly after getting free from work. The cafe has a very antique, and minimalistic vibe with its rustic wooden tables, chairs, and crockery (one which you can not get anywhere in the town). The ambience is filled with classical Pakistani music and the walls are painted with murals of Pakistani legends and actors - takes you back to the old times. The food quality and taste are very poise - not very high, not very low, but just the right amount. The guys who serve there are really friendly and remember their recurring customers.

Two things that are irreplaceable about this place are:
1. You'll find every place in Karachi crowded at weekends except the roadside. They always have free tables (due to its exquisite location)
2. The gentry, which usually goes there, is not the youngsters looking for a party spot. Rather, it is the choice of most professional adults which gives the cafe a very elegant touch. You'll find most people discussing business, the economy, social issues, and other mature topics

Always my first go-to place with someone new in the town.
