Great experience here for work lunch. Ordered a wide spread of dishes, most of which were really good. Service was friendly and warm. Recommended.
Nice place to get affordable and tasty dosa.
Tried several different dosa here now, including a 70mm podi dosa. Surprisingly filling given how crispy they are!
The flavours here are strong and punchy, which i usually love, but there are a couple of misses here. For example, way too much podi. Also, the sambar could be more balanced. But the chutney is great, and so is the potato in the masala dosa.
Overall, the prices and the food are good.

Stopped here for lunch while in Melbourne Central and ordered some gyoza and agedashi tofu.
It was ok, perhaps other dishes are better, but I wasn't really convinced to come back and find out.

Ordered the charminar dosa, rava dosa, and Chennai masala chai. The dosas were crispy and delicious, the chutneys are clearly freshly home made, and the sambar is amazing. The chai was one of the best I've had - was so tempted to order a second one!
The owner/chef came over to ask how our food was, which as a dosa lover and fan of South Indian food more generally, turned into a lovely long conversation about food. When I mentioned I love rasam, but can't find it anywhere, he offered to make me some fresh on the spot, at no charge, despite it not being on the menu.
And that was amazingly delicious too. Can't wait to return.
