I take the dog for sprints across the field. He is not interested in the lake nor the ducks and swans, but I am. Come here with a blanket and some grub. Bring the family too.
Brent City

Affordable household items in abundant variety may be found here as well as a Subway restaurant close nearby to take a break from spending your money. Check cashing, HRH Health Care, Compare Supermarket, nail salon, Checkers (the burger joint beyond the shopping consortium) and more are all here within a five minute walk or a thirty second scary car ride. Drive slowly 😁 please. Let people live to take home their purchases.
This is by no means a conventional mall as found outside of Brentwood's environs, but is surely convenient to pick up lunch items for your child's lunch tomorrow at school.
Garden City Square

Ophthalmic Consultants of Long Island at Garden City Square has performed cataract surgery on my friend for both eyes, one eye per two visits. The surgery was performed using a scalpel, not a laser device such as Lasik. They did a fine job with the procedures as well as helping to manage anxiety beforehand by offering expectations and answering questions. Still recovering from the second eye surgery and more serious of the two, my friend is greatly encouraged from her newly gained vision which had been clouded over for a long time. She can drive now without eyeglasses or blinding glare from night driving. Hence, I am pleased to give them the best possible rating because of their professionalism and expertise.

As for other venues present at Garden City Square, I have not patronized their businesses.
I had a flat tire here on a racing bike from Islip, Ronkonkoma, and Yaphank to Montauk. There was no one here at 9am on a Saturday morning. Janice from the Department of Public Works stopped her car to rescue me, which has nothing at all to do with YHS. THANK YOU JANICE. You are a saint.
The staff is so nice that I thought this was a Mom and Pop, only location store. What a pleasant surprise it was to visit, sample their very delicious shrimp dish, and then...dessert! See the photos I posted. It was late in the day so there wasn't a full display case laden with mouth-watering treats. It worked out fine because one slice was enough for me! When back in town I will visit again.

This is a chain of restaurants and I found one near me on Long Island. Life is good.
