Excellent Santa Fe dining destination when you're on the south side of town. Quality food, well-prepared and served in a clean, well-lit environment. The service is prompt, friendly and SUPER fast. We've enjoyed the posolé, pumpkin posolé! and short rib dinner. The pumpkin posolé is really a unique and delicious seasonal option - the everyday posolé is a very filling meal chock full of very nicely seasoned pork chunks. A special shout out for the Green Chili Apple Pie - unique and tasty. If you're looking for an enjoyable dining experience - check out The Plaza cafe. It's kind of like an old 50's diner on steriods ;-)
We loved our dinner at The Love Apple. The service was attentive, informative and super friendly. The atmosphere (we dined outside) was casual and comfortable. The food was well-prepared, interesting and delicious. The mole on my tamale was one of the most interesting I've ever tasted - thicker and not as sweet as I've experienced previously. The sauce on my wife's gnocchi was delicious, and interesting - we tasted carrots and rosemary amongst other flavors. There are many tempting options on the menu for both carnivores and vegetarians. I strongly recommend The Love Apple for a delicious, upscale dining experience
