Affordable and delightful in a modest way. Daily breakfasts of yogurt and honey and fresh-squeezed orange juice in a building that still has it's massive stone olive press. Comfortable, well air-conditioned rooms with views of the pomegranate, orange, and olive trees on the property. Snacks and drinks by a large pool. About a five-minute taxi ride from downtown or a 30-minute walk downhill. An absolute breath of fresh air compared to the pandering, touristy areas in Chania. I won't even bother considering other places to stay in the future.
