The rooms are on the small side, but perfectly suitable and ours had wonderful views of the ocean.

It is excellently located although it can be a bit loud and busy, especially with the entrance right next to a busy roundabout with minimal parking.

The service was very good, particularly the concierge who provided many fantastic recommendations.

Unfortunately, the spa was one of the worst I've ever seen in a hotel of the standard and it really lets the hotel down. To get to it you have to walk past full conference/meeting rooms, busy and bustling with people milling around outside the rooms. The spa reception itself is starkly lit, with staff shouting at each other across the room. We were ostentatiously ignored for several minutes and then marched through to the 'relaxation room' which is also brightly lit and adjoined to a gym. We were given no opportunity to change or shower. The therapist didn't even know my name and after a several false starts we determined I was the person she was looking for. The treatment itself started late and finished early and whilst I was encouraged to instruct her on how I like my massage, my instruction was ignored in its entirety.

I've had some average massages in hotel spas before, but never experienced a setting and service so unrelaxing. When we fed this back to the hotel in person, they didn't seem particularly interested in this information and we were not asked to elaborate in any way so it seems they have no interest in improving things.
