It's a car park... drive in, park, pay and enjoy an amble around Looe! That said, it is conveniently located right by the shops and a short walk to the beach. This is ideal for disabled, less abled and anyone who is going to the beach and carrying lots of accessories. The ticket machine even takes coins!
Top tip: You will need to get there early as the car park becomes full very quick.

A very interesting visit today. Very knowledgeable team consisting of two guys from 'The Box' museum to give us a talk about the history of the place. Quite dark inside, spiral staircases a bit scary so no idea how the occupants coped in the past! No more than an hour needed and the Adult £5 entrance fee maybe a little dear for what is essentially 5 rooms. Sixth room is where you enter and pay. It is a very important part of Plymouth's history so I'm glad I went.
It's a car park, you drive in, pay to park immediately and just drive out (no barrier) when leaving. Downside, you need to gauge exactly how many hours you will need. It's very run down but ideally situated for shopping in the City Centre.
The photo shown is not the car park I used. I parked in the one by the bottom entrance gate. It is well lined out, easy to access and super easy to pay (old style with coins). £3 for 4 hours, £4 for over 4 hours and a £1 for an hour. Parking meter will be changed to accept contact less soon.
