It's been years since last I was in a Kohikan, and I am pleased to report it exceeded my expectations in this new location.

The green tea cake was very nice, much heavier and richer than I expected, and the coffee, made with charcoal roasted beans, was quite tasty, once I added milk - straight was just a little too bitter to me.

My wife had the Christmas pancakes with white chocolate and cheese sauce, which was also very nice.

Social distance is well maintained with dividers between the counter seats, and most seats have power sockets. There's also free wi-fi, but you have to ask for the password - take note that if it's the same as when I was there it's in upper case.

Cheap and drinkable coffee, and sweets are good cost/performance.

They have a 2% cashless discount (while the promotion lasts) but limited to Visa, MasterCard, iD and Edy.

They usually have some cat-related promotion; currently it is buy two drinks and get an A6 clear file of one kitten from a set of twelve.

Also, until recently the second floor was all smoking, but they've now gone all non-smoking bar a small cancer cupboard.
