It is a good training centre for seafarers certification. If you are not a Georgian citizen you can still complete the training here, you only need to register yourself in the Batumi's Maritime transport agency of Georgia and get yourself a seafarer number. And don't forget to pass the local medical examination and get yourself a valid certificate.

Very nice art museum in the center of Batumi. On the 1st floor they have a small collection of international paintings and more of the Georgian artists in the second one. The museum itself is quite small. If you have a free 30 minutes or so I recommend to visit this place
