Fell in love with this place during lockdown and ordered several times via Deliveroo.
Really happy with the quality of the food and abundance of flavours. The staff were very friendly and they are off to a great start.
Went to their new site in distillery square and even though it is very early in this venture, there are a few things that I feel warranted the loss of one star.
The restaurant is small and will seat less than 18 people, it’s cosy but the tables are too bulky for the venue and could be better organised to make use of the space.
There is no table service and you have to go up to the counter to order food, and when dining in the food is served in takeaway containers and not plates as you’d expect.
They don’t have an alcohol license, but you can bring your own booze so no big deal, but you also have to bring you own glassware unless you’re o.k to drink out of a paper cup.
There is no take away window: as Deliveroo is becoming popular there is constantly delivery people coming in and out of the restaurant, on a cold night this small space gets a blast of cold winter air every ten to fifteen minutes and you might get a delivery backpack in the face.
This is more of a takeaway with tables rather than a restaurant, but the food and service is exceptional so with a few tweaks in time this will be perfect.
Also the Gua Bao is not on Deliveroo and is delicious. I will stick to ordering on Deliveroo for the time being or stop by to collect on my way home from work. If they could get outdoor seating in the summer this would change everything.

Absolutely loved this place. A real hidden gem in the centre of Norwich. Feeling spontaneous on a Friday evening. I called half an hour before to see if they could accommodate my wife and I for dinner. The staff were very helpful and friendly and they managed to squeeze us in at the last minute. The food is absolutely amazing and very reasonably priced.
We opted to share a mix of various small plates and everything was delicious, well presented and served promptly.
The drinks offering is decent so my wife opted to try a glass of the Plum wine while I stuck with the familiar Sapporo. We were so blown away by the plum wine we decided to share a bottle. It is the perfect drink to have whilst savouring the delicate flavours of the food, a wonderful balance of dry, sweet, tangy and fresh. The staff were exceptionally friendly and efficient. We will be returning again in the very near future.
