We recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Vacations Club at Orange Lake Resort for a 4-day, 3-night getaway. The resort was massive divided into 4 villages. Our 2BR-2BA suite with enclosed patio in the River Island section was huge and perfect for family of 4.

Pros: The check-in process was simple and quick. There is plenty to do on property if you choose not to venture out. The grounds were clean and maintained. The pool area was absolutely beautiful! It reminded me of a relaxing tropical island with palm trees and hammocks. Located within minutes to many other attractions, including the popular theme parks. Each village has different fun things to do. There was a grocery store just outside the gate which made it very convenient to pick up snacks, beverages, etc. We chose not to cook our meals but having all of the necessary utensils there is great. The unit also had a full-size washer and dryer. There is a free shuttle with multiple pick-up/drop-off locations to transport guests from point A to B while on the property.

Cons: The kitchen appliances in our unit were white and dated. Updating to stainless would have made the unit look new and modern. The bathrooms had a few areas starting to show their age, but both were clean and had plenty of towels. Rooms on the odd side of building has a view of the parking lot . Be sure to request an even number if view is important to you. It was great to have a lazy River, water slides, etc. however, there should be no additional charges to take advantage of any amenities on property.
We really enjoyed this cool attraction near ICON park. The auto museum has over 2000 cars and is located inside an entertainment complex with plenty of other things to do, to include: go-karts, an arcade, 7-D ride, multiple dining options, shops and a huge observation Ferris wheel to name a few. There is something fun for everyone to enjoy. We had a blast!
