I would highly recommend this place for a taste of Kerala cuisine. The ingredients felt fresh and the flavours were excellent. Everything we tried as seen in the photos were nice.

A nice location to go on a weekend drive. The historical significance of the fort makes it special. There is a lot of information about the fort and the old Zubara city available in the plaques inside the fort. The fort is accessible by car and the parking lot is good.

Worth visiting indeed.

I tried the Fat burger and it was a nice burger overall. The burger felt nice and warm when I got it. The patty was quite good, and I understand they use angus beef from USA. The pickles, mayo and lettuce all seemed to be in the right amounts and fresh.

The atmosphere at the restaurant though needs some improvement, the indoor seating area did not smell that great. We sat outdoors, it was alright.

Worth a visit if you want to try out some Sri Lankan cuisine. I felt the menu size was quite limited in terms of options. Of the things we tasted the prawns mango curry was quite good. The service from the staff was really good. Overall a decent experience !!

Was an excellent experience overall. We started of trying the Pistachio and Walnut baklavas, they were flavorful and moist. Enjoyed them. The tres leches cake, had a great texture to it, capped off nicely by the layer of caramel on top. We rounded off the meal, by ordering a cafe latte and cappuccino, which was served in an unique manner with a piece of chocolate and water. The coffee was good.

A special mention to the staff at Mado, who were brilliant with their service. The wonderful attitude of the staff and the food, make it a place you want to go back to again at the earliest chance.
