A grocery store where I can find things is always a bonus. Produce is fresh, and there's usually plenty of stock. I'm there on several different days of the week and often find they've run out of eggs. Fix that supply chain issue, and I'll give another star. Checkout is quick and easy, though self-serve staff could be less suspicious of someone returning an item because it didn't fit into their backpack. Pointing out twice that there are cameras on both sides of the machine was unrelated and not helpful, and it did not make the customer feel valued.
Saturday morning op shopping, turned into something truly special. Drawn by an irresistable aroma of freshly cooked Indian spices, I found myself on auto pilot crossing the road that I never normally cross to search out where it was coming from. It felt like I was stepping into a street cafe in India when I found myself in a room full of boisterous young families. I rushed to the counter and nearly begged a kind young mum, also waiting in line, to help me pick something from the menu. Along with the owner's assistance and my new friend, I settled on a buttermilk lassi and the daily lunch special. 20 minutes was worth the wait when a big sectional tray with my favourite malai kofta, tomato curry, pickles salad, and a little polenta dessert ball soaked in a sweet syrup was placed in front of me. I immediately took to sopping up all the delicious flavours with a mountain of fresh naan bread, sipping the lassi to cool my mouth as I went. Sipping and sopping, I almost cleaned the plate. It was the perfect amount of chilli for me and worth the roughly $20. Service was very friendly and attentive, so thank you, and I look forward to returning soon.
Friendly staff at the local IGA make it a no trainer to stop here for some fresh produce and emergency groceries. The eateries look inviting, but I've only tried the Indian so far. It was very good. The bottle shop staff are very helpful and I'd rather go here than neighbouring shopping centres. It's easy parking and quick.
What a gorgeous park tucked away near the foreshore. A great place to let the grandkids run and explore nature, enjoy the playground, practice basketball 🏀, cricket, or even soccer. There's even some exercise equipment for the oldies. I'm looking forward to the next visit and may even try my hand at fishing again. God knows it's been a while. 😆 Or I may just leave it to the experts and toddle up to the pub less a block away and watch.

These older than old trees are stunning. It felt like such a privilege to sit beneath them on the picnic tables by the Currumbin Creek. A popular spot for dog walking too. Magical!
