New iwner as of last summer. Excellent food. Staff is very nice. Can also book parties there. Very lovely inside. Location is probably issue fir why it isn't that busy. From the outside, you wouldn't know it was so lovely inside.
This place blew me away ... best cocktails I've ever had.
I made a reservation 2 weeks ago on their website and arrived at the Commonwealth. The main bar/club wasn't open yet but if you have a spot in the laundry room they usher you back through a secret door.
It's such a cool vibe back there. Small space that feels cozy and exclusive. No phones allowed so I didn't get any photos. We spent so long just looking at all the cool period decor! Soft live piano music playing in the background. And the pianist took requests ..some Scott Joplin really set the tone of the evening.
All of the cocktails we had were simply amazing. The mixologist that served us was fantastic and took his time really crafting each drink - it's worth the wait! I loved the Dizzy Dill drink, MM1, and MM2. Honestly, you cannot go wrong with anything from the menu.
