One of the most conveniently located airports I’ve been to in the world!
It’s very centrally located and it’s so quick and easy to get here via metro or car. It has the shortest distance from metro platform to airport security of any airport I’ve ever been to in dozens of countries around the world. And then from security to the gate is also very quick. The new Concourse E is really nice. The views out the plane windows when taking off or landing are great, especially if you’re facing DC and the National Mall.
Note that Concourse A is a different story altogether, and is not nearly as good the others. But I never go there.

Awesome market area, and the top thing to see in Doha! It’s relatively big and there are all sort of passageways that you can get almost-lost in. It’s best in the evenings when there are tons of people out. Even if it’s not the most historic souq in the world, it’s still nice. And quite clean! If you can stay in a hotel in this area, I recommend doing so.
Great place to see the skyline across the water 🏙️
