Ray Hutchings

A small car park which is ideally suited for visiting the Bridgewater Canal or the transpennine trail. Very popular with dog walkers as there is easy access to the trail.

Was almost deserted when we arrived at 10am, but was full when we came back to the car at 12 noon.

Very enjoyable and well worth the climb.
