It's self service so it's 3 stars for me on the service. Taste wise it's different. The roast chicken is crispier and tasty. There's two types of rice to choose. Chicken or fried rice. Fried rice is RM1 more. Personally I prefer the chicken rice because fried rice aren't that great. Two chillies provided are quite good though. There's a queue so it will take some time as many takeaways have multiple orders. This is my first time here as I'm curious about the taste. It's ok. Definitely a different style of chicken rice to try out. Opens at 11am and they close on Sunday.
This restaurant is famous for its food. Certain dishes must be pre ordered so check with them first. Ask for their speciality dishes to get the best. Taste wise it's really not great. If you want to try better make reservations on weekends though. It's going to be packed. Parking wise it's a little hassle but there's parking available if you know where to find it at a cost. Price wise a little high 😁 For seven of us with 5 dishes and 1 dessert, total is almost RM500 😱 I don't feel it's worth it though.
Coffee shop selling only char siew, chicken, duck and roast pork rice. Char siew is famous there and the best in Penang though the quality drop gradually for 15 years. Still good though since I haven't find any replacement yet. Try the vegetable and soup too.
