Had a great meal at Rustom. It was recommend to me several times and the recommendations were spot on.
First of all the decor was lovely, had a high class vibe, ideal for a date or a special occasion.
The service was fantastic, especially considering we were in at 9.30 towards the end of the shift. All the staff were friendly and the service was fast given that we had a table of 20.
I can't find any fault with the food. My butter chicken extremely tasty. And all the rest of the dishes I tried were amazing too.
The only thing negative I could find is that the portion of rice was very small considering the price.
Overall I would highly recommend visiting this place.

Have to say I was impressed with this place. I came when it first opened and thought it was good. This was my second visit.
The slow cooked meat was great. Portion size was good. And the price overall was well worth it.
If you love bbq food this is probably second to none in Edinburgh.
The location is great too. Bang in the middle of the city.
The waitresses were friendly and funny.
I would recommend this place for anyone who likes tasty comfort food.

Unfortunately, I am giving this place 3 stars.
I was told the breakfast here was really good. However, for £11 the ingredients were not of a high quality at all.
I was unable to eat the black pudding and the haggis. Very low quality and greasy. The beans were cold. The sausage and bacon was okay, but the sausages were bog standard cheap ones.
The positives of the place are the nice atmosphere, service was decent. And the coffee was very nice.
I would still recommend this place for a coffee and meet up with friends. Just had to mark it down for the low quality breakfast.

This place was great.
Went with my dad and uncle for some Sunday lunch and was not disappointed at all.
The Scottish tapas menu was really well thought out and has something for everyone.
We got 3 dishes each, which was more than enough. However, this did make the meal relatively expensive, considering it was just an afternoon lunch.
That being said, everything we ate tasted amazing, all the dishes were cooked well and the presentation was nice.
Usually I'm not a dessert guy but the cheesecake I got was different class. Thankfully it was very light as it would have been hard to eat a heavy dessert after all that.
I reckon this place is ideal for any sort of occasion. Definitely will be back!

Went to mums for a pre show meal and have to say I was impressed. Like the name of the restaurant suggests this was just very nice filling food. I had the chicken leak and bacon pie and I can't really fault it. The chips were home made too which is always welcome. The price is reasonable especially for the location. The table we were at was a bit cramped next to another one but apart from that all good. I would recommend this place if you are in a hurry or just extremely hungry.
